Our
story

Arden began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and held senior finance advisory roles at PwC and KPMG. He later turned entrepreneur and founded Blueback Global, a top 75 fastest growing company in Americas in the Financial Times’ 2021 inaugural list. Working globally helped shape his vision of creating opportunities for young talented entrepreneurs in underserved communities.
I grew up in post-independence Singapore during the early years of nation building. I was very fortunate to receive a sound education, and even luckier to land a first job with a prestigious global accounting firm.
As I worked and travelled in global cities, I encountered discrimination, injustice, and racism, and witnessed the disparity in opportunities available for young people. Over the years, I’ve helped build businesses in dozens of countries on nearly every continent.
Today, I’m driven by the need to advocate for less fortunate young entrepreneurs, without regard to race, creed, nationality, or distinctions of any kind.
This is the ethos behind The Greenrail Project.
